The store is locally owned, with leading brands and professional service. A dedicated team of local staff ensure you can get expert advice in our Timber, Hardware, Paint, Plumbing and Garden departments.

Mt Alexander Timber & Hardware are members of the Hardware and Building Traders (HBT) group which allows products to be sourced at a great quality and price whilst still allowing us to trade as an independent business.

The store currently stocks various brands of tools, timber, garden, paint & plumbing supplies and offers delivery with our fleet of vehicles, including a crane truck. Recent expansions have seen the store grow in size to cater for additional product ranges and quantities, including a re-branding to H Hardware.

Trading previously as ‘Beard’s Hardware’ before being purchased by locals in December 2017, the store has since undergone renovations. Two car parks provide ample parking on-site and a handy Drive-Thru in the Timber Yard for your convenience. Disabled parking is available in the front car park.
